Magical day at Newlyn Harbour & Duke Street Cafe

It’s such a gift to be regularly helping people when they book appointments with me. I always like to spend thirty minutes before each appointment to tune in and gather as much insight as possible to make the Healing or Reading as meaningful as possible.

So, when I have windows of opportunity to venture out in Cornwall and have unstructured quality time to just explore and socialise I really like to make it count!

As a family, when I was very young, we used to holiday on a farm on the outskirts of St Ives. The owners of the Farm have a daughter who I grew to become close friends with. I met her for Breakfast in Duke Street Cafe in Newlyn on this glorious sunny Sunday morning. My husband John joined us. Who would guess that it’s January? I suppose my outerwear gives the game away but it really feels like Spring today!

The Cafe Supper menu looks really tasty. We must return to try the meals one evening!

We chatted and walked out into Newlyn Harbour, the Fishermen were ever so friendly. They even let me take a sample of fish as a gift. What a Magical day! It’s the slowing down. socialising and soaking in the sun, the simplest of pleasures that help to re-set and re-charge.

If you’re reading this from a town or city, do consider taking time out from your routine to come along to Cornwall. To make it more than a break, you can come along to one of my workshops or why not stop by for a tea and say hello! Hope to see you soon!
